Russia’s largest vegoil hub may be built in the special economic area ‘Lotos’ (Astrakhan region), reports UkrAgroConsult.

The project is meant to be implemented by the Transoil-Terminal company, whose admission to the special economic area is scheduled for as soon as August 2019. Then Transoil-Terminal is going to set up handling of vegetable oils at the Turkmen port of Turkmenbashi. The commodities will be supplies for both Turkmenistan itself and further transit to Uzbekistan, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
