Russia. Novotrans to start construction of new grain terminal this summer
On June 01, 2019 Novotrans plans to begin construction of a terminal in Ust-Luga port (Lugaport project). The cost of the project is estimated at RUB 45 billion, and the annual cargo turnover – 24-28 MMT. The Lugaport project includes three terminals (for grain, food products and bulk general cargoes) and five berths. The total length of the moorage walls will reach 1.5 kilometers.
Operating fleet: Panamax, New-Panamax and Baby-Capesize vessels. The grain terminal will be able to handle up to 6 MMT of grain per year. The opening is scheduled for 2024, reports UkrAgroConsult.
