Russia exporting half as much corn as last year

According to preliminary information, Russia exported 2.6 MMT of corn in September-July 2018/19. This is down 54% from the same period in MY 2017/18, the lowest export volume since MY 2013/14, reports UkrAgroConsult.

Growth in exports is registered to China (+115%), Iran (46%) and Japan (+29%).

Exports to the majority of key markets decreased: South Korea (-98%), Turkey (-87%), EU (-51%), etc.
