Tymofiy Mylovanov appointed Minister for Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture
Tymofiy Mylovanov appointed Minister for Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture during the first session of newly-elected Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (Parliament) on August 29th. 281 MPs voted for this appointment.
The Parliament voted for the entire new Cabinet of Ministers, submitted by Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk.
Formerly, Tymofiy Mylovanov held the position of Deputy Head of the Council of the National Bank of Ukraine. In 2014, Ukrainian Forbes included him in the Top Economic Thinkers rating.
Before the Agrarian Ministry was reformed, it was headed by Olga Trofimtseva.
