Ukraine. Grain carriage by road to be limited in Odesa
Since May 24, Ukravtodor of Odessa Region introduced a restriction for large-size truck traffic on public roads. First of all, the restrictions apply to carriers of agricultural commodities. Transportation by trucks with carrying capacity of more than 24 MT and no more than 7 MT per axle load will be allowed from 10p.m to 10a.m only, reports UkrAgroConsult.
The ports of this region are obliged to prohibit the entry and exit of trucks during hot days. All shipments should be carried out within the above-mentioned period. The restriction is introduced to save the road surface on the highway area.
