Ukraine. Soybean stocks in early April almost twice as high as a year ago
According to current information of the State Statistics Service, sunseed stocks in Ukraine totaled 4021.1 KMT as of April 1, 2019 that is up 14.5% from the same date last year (3512.9 KMT). This included 2158.8 KMT held on farms (up 444 KMT, or 25.9% from April 1, 2018) and 1862.3 KMT at storage and processing facilities (up 64.2 KMT, or 3.6% on the year), reports UkrAgroConsult.
As of April 1, 2019, crusher soybean stocks were up 87.5% year-on-year at 689.5 KMT against 367.8 KMT on April 1, 2018. Rapeseed stocks as of the reporting date were 57.6% lower than a year earlier (24.2 KMT against 57.1 KMT, respectively).
