Ukraine ready to deepen cooperation with United States – Groysman

Ukraine is ready to deepen cooperation with the United States and maintain a high level of bilateral dialogue.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said this during a meeting with U.S. Chargé d'Affaires a.i. in Ukraine William Taylor, according to the Government portal.

“You are performing an important mission. You have already done a lot for the development of our bilateral relations. I hope that your current mission will be aimed at deepening our relations,” Groysman said.

In turn, William Taylor noted that senior U.S. officials quite often visited Ukraine, which demonstrated the importance of cooperation with Ukraine for the U.S. Government.

During the conversation, the parties discussed the current state of affairs in Ukraine, primarily in the context of the progress of reforms and preparation for snap parliamentary elections.
