Ukraine’s Government to allocate UAH 5.9 bln for agricultural development programs
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine will allocate UAH 5.9 billion for agricultural development programs in 2019.
"In 2019, the Government allocates UAH 5.9 billion for the development of the agro-industrial complex. We partially compensate for the cost of Ukrainian agricultural machinery, garden seedlings, farm construction," Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman posted on Twitter after visiting AGRO 2019 agricultural trade show.
According to him, Ukrainian agricultural exports grew by 18.6% for the first four months of this year compared with the same period in 2018. "Ukraine trades with all continents. The Asian market is the leader, and the EU firmly occupies the second position. Ukraine exports not only raw materials but processed products also," he added.
AGRO 2019 is the largest agricultural tradeshow in Ukraine and Eastern Europe. The Prime Minister sees it as an opportunity for tens of thousands of farmers to demonstrate their achievements and share experience.
