Wheat trade 2018: top exporters from Ukraine

In the year 2018, exports of Ukrainian wheat and meslin (a mixture of wheat and rye) reached 16.37 million tons. The leading position in the supply of grain holds the NIBULON company with 2.2 million tons (13.7 pct of total exports) of shipments.

By the Latifundist.com rating based on the data of the Ukrainian port operators, the key exporters of wheat from Ukraine in 2018 are as follows:

    NIBULON — 2.2 mln t (13.7 pct);
    Kernel — 1.6 mln t (9.9 pct);
    Louis Dreyfus Company — 1.4 mln t (9.0 pct);
    Bunge — 1.4 mln t (8.8 pct);
    Cargill — 1.3 mln t (8. 3 pct);
    COFCO Agri Resources Ukraine — 1 mln t (6.1 pct);
    ADM Trading Ukraine — 0.6 mln t (3.8 pct);
    CHS Ukraine — 0.5 mln t (3.3 pct);
    Ambar Export BKW — 0.52 mln t (3.2 pct);
    Orsett Trading — 0.51 mln t (3.1 pct).

Since the start of 2018/19, as of March 20th, 2019, Ukraine exported 35.6 million tons of grain.
