Kazakhstan. Weather condition helped complete grain maturation and harvest

Weather conditions. In winter wheat growing areas across the south and southeast of the country, weather conditions helped complete grain maturation and harvest.

Moisture supply. Precipitation that occurred in the northern half of the country on July 21-31 created good conditions for grain filling, but elevated air temperatures affected grains while flowering, therefore seedless ears and crop losses are probable.

Crop condition of winter and spring crops is good. Heat-loving crops (cotton, sugar beet, rice, corn for grain) are rated mostly good, locally fair, reports UkrAgroConsult.
