Romania. Farmers began harvesting winter rape, barley and wheat

Weather conditions. Air temperatures in Romania were 4°С above long-term normals, even 6°С higher than normal in the west of the country. The average daytime temperature ranged from +25°С to +32°С. In southern areas, thermometer readings reached +36-37°С. Precipitation occurred predominantly in the north and northeast of Romania (25-35 mm over the week), while the south received at most 10-15 mm. 

Moisture supply. It remains at an optimum level for growing corn and sunflower. As before, a soil moisture deficit is reported locally in the southeast.
