Ukraine. Soybean crush set a new monthly record
In March 2019, monthly soybean oil production by large and medium-sized crushers in Ukraine totaled a record 31.1 KMT. This is 13% more than in the previous month (27.7 KMT), up 49.8% from the same month last year (20.9 KMT) and the highest-ever volume for March.
As expected, soybean oil production in the seven months of the 2018/19 season broke last year’s record (118.9 KMT) and increased to 161 KMT, reports UkrAgroConsult.
Taking into account this season’s trends (increasing soybean crush, but at a slower pace than expected initially), UkrAgroConsult reduces its estimate for soybean oil production.
