February’s soybean meal exports from Ukraine hit an all-time high
Ukraine exported a record 69.8 KMT of soybean meal in February 2018/19 against 64.2 KMT in the previous month and 35.3 KMT in February 2017/18. Total soybean meal exports in the first half of this season hit an all-time high of 297.5 KMT that is up almost 74% from a year ago, reports UkrAgroConsult.
As before, the top buyers of Ukrainian soybean meal in the 2018/19 season include EU countries (42% of total exports), Belarus (22%), Turkey (19%) and Georgia (8%). Remarkably, all of the key destinations witness a rise in deliveries. The greatest surge is seen in supplies to EU and Turkey.
As a reminder, UkrAgroConsult expects soybean processing to increase in MY 2018/19.
