Flour exports from Russia grew by 7% in the new season
According to preliminary data, in July 2019, Russia exported 18.5 KMT of flour. This is 7% more than in July 2018, and the largest volume for this month over the past nine years, reports UkrAgroConsult.
China and Syria were the largest importers in July (there were no export shipments to Syria in the 2018/19 season). The demand from Tajikistan, Georgia and Iran also increased in the new season.
As a reminder, in the 2018/19 season, Russia exported 283.3 KMT of flour.
