Grain crop forecast for Kazakhstan was reduced
The Ag Ministry of Kazakhstan cut its 2019 grain crop estimate for the second time in a month, to 17 MMT from 18-18.5 MMT in the previous forecast due to adverse weather conditions, reports UkrAgroConsult.
Grain and pulse harvest in Kazakhstan was 82.8% complete as of October 1 (12.6 Ml ha); farmers had threshed 14.4 MMT by that time. 58.6% of the harvested grain is represented by 3rd class.
