Kazakhstan. Sunflower oil refining increased by 31%

Kazakhstan’s fat-and-oil production in January 2019 was as follows:

•  unrefined sunflower oil and soybean oil was at last year’s levels of 12.9 KMT and 1.3 KMT, respectively;
•  rape oil production fell by 27%;
•  sunflower oil refining increased by 31% from January 2019.

So far, this season’s output of unrefined vegoils is higher than in MY 2018/19: sunflower oil – up 50%, soybean oil – up 26%, refined sunflower oil – up 2.8%, while rape oil production is down 26.6% year-on-year, UkrAgroConsult reports.
