Kazakhstan to double its soybean acreage in 2020
Soybean planted area in Kazakhstan is forecast to expand to 270 Th ha in 2020. This year’s soybean plantings are estimated at 125 Th ha, reports UkrAgroConsult.
It is planned to provide soybean growers with seeds by implementing the “Northern Soya” program, under which farmers sowed 14 Th ha to super-elite and elite early-ripening foreign-bred seeds in North Kazakhstan region this year.
