Morocco raising import duty on wheat
According to the country’s government, Morocco will raise its customs duty on imported soft wheat from 30% to 135% from June 1, 2019 with the purpose of protecting national grain producers.
In July-April 2018/19, Ukrainian wheat exports to Morocco hit an all-time high of 1.162 MMT (the fourth biggest export market this season), reports UkrAgroConsult.
