North Kazakhstan expanding soybean acreage
The agricultural sector in North Kazakhstan region continues to be diversified: this year, local farmers will begin growing soybeans for the first time.
Out of total oilseeds area of 1 Ml ha, soybeans will account for 15 Th ha. It is projected to expand their plantings to 150 Th ha by 2020, reports UkrAgroConsult.
