Russia. Construction of specialized grain terminal in Far East be being worked out

The Agency of the Far East for attracting investments and supporting exports is working out the issue of building a specialized grain terminal in the Far East. It is noted that today most of Russian grain is exported through the ports of the Azov-Black Sea basin, while the implementation of large-scale agricultural projects will require creation of necessary capacities directly in the Far East, reports UkrAgroConsult.

It is specified that the grain terminal construction is supposed to create infrastructure of international transport corridors, which will require expanding the capacity of railways, developing the infrastructure of access roads, creating additional electricity capacities and carrying out comprehensive work to provide the terminal with a sufficient cargo base by means of attracting transit cargoes from China.
