Ukraine. First corn yield figures down 30%

The corn harvest has officially begun. As it started from the south, which had been worst hit by drought, the first yield figures are much lower than last year: 4.14 MT/ha versus 5.93 MT/ha, respectively, or down 30%.

Remarkably, the average yield of cereals and pulses is slightly higher than in 2019: 3.94 MT/ha versus 3.93 MT/ha, respectively, UkrAgroConsult reports.
