Ukraine. Corn exports in July hit a six-year low
425 KMT was exported in July (down 73% from June and down 73% from July 2018/19), UkrAgroConsult reports.
China has been the main buyer of Ukrainian corn since three months ago because the EU has been slashing purchases since May.
Ukraine has sold no corn to South Korea, Tunisia, Morocco for three months and to Egypt for two months.
The EU, Israel and Turkey continue reducing purchases compared to last year. Other major importers increased exports in the current season compared to the previous period last year: China: +41%, Egypt: +5%, South Korea: up almost sixfold.
