Ukraine. Corn stocks were down 11% year-on-year
The State Statistics Service of Ukraine reported the following amounts of grain stocks in the country as of August 1, 2020:
- wheat stocks were down 22.3% year-on-year, with those kept at storage and processing facilities being down 33.8% and on-farm stocks down 16.2%;
- barley stocks were down 16.6% year-on-year, including on-farm stocks down 25.1% and those at storage and processing facilities up 3.0%;
- corn stocks were down 11.1% year-on-year, including a 46.6% drop at storage and processing facilities and a 9.3% gain in on-farm stocks, UkrAgroConsult reports.
