Ukraine. Flour exports to UAE up almost three times from last year
Flour exports in April 2019/20 totaled 22 KMT (+18% from March, -33% from April 2018/19). Ukraine increased flour shipments by 24% in July-April compared to the same period of last year, UkrAgroConsult reports.
The greatest gain in demand this season is seen from the UAE – up almost three times year-on-year.
This season’s new importers – Mozambique, Indonesia and Hong Kong – continued to actively buy Ukrainian flour in April.
A decrease in demand was seen from the following countries: China: -28%, Palestine: -9%, Moldova: -21%, Israel: -1%.
