Ukraine. Grain transportation by the Dnipro River fell by almost 20%
820.6 KMT of grain was transported by the Dnipro River from January to April 2020, or 18.6% less than in the same time last year. Overall, freight shipments by the Dnipro River in the reporting period totaled 1.9 MMT (1694 trips) that is down 3.7% from last year’s 2 MMT. Grain cargoes account for 43% of the total volume of these shipments, UkrAgroConsult reports.
