Ukraine expands agrarian support programs – Groysman
The Ukrainian government has expanded programs on the agrarian support and farming development in the country.
Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman wrote this on his Facebook page on April 8.
"Ukrainian agrarian producers are known all over the world. We have entered the top five exporters to the EU and the top ten world exporters. However, the Ukrainian agro-industrial complex still has a huge potential for development. I would really like our country to have not tens of thousands, but hundreds of thousands of small and medium-sized farmers. For this, our government is expanding its support to the agrarian sector. UAH 5.9 billion has been allocated in 2019,” Groysman wrote.
In the video attached to the post, it is noted that Ukrainian agrarian products are exported to 190 countries of the world.
