Ukraine. Sunflower oil production remains at a record high
In February 2018/19, Ukraine’s large and medium-sized crushers produced 476.6 KMT of sunflower oil, or 1.6% less than in the previous month, but 11.4% more than in February 2017/18. In addition, this season’s February peak was brought up to a new level, reports UkrAgroConsult.
Sunflower oil production in September-February 2018/19 totaled 2970.3 KMT, surpassing the 2016/17 record by 1.5%. It was at 2674.8 KMT a year ago.
UkrAgroConsult leaves unchanged its estimates for total sunflower seed processing and sunflower oil output in MY 2018/19.
