Ukrainian farmers received over UAH 138 mln in financial support since year-start
In January – July 2019, Ukrainian farmers received UAH 138.27 million in financial assistance as part of the budget program Financial Support for Farm Development, according to the Agrarian Policy Ministry.
“As of September 4, according to the registers from the authorized banks and the Ukrainian State Fund, UAH 138.27 million was transferred to farmers as part of the budget program Financial Support for Farm Development. Such amount has been accrued in the period from December to June of the current year,” reads the report.
As Ukrinform reported, the Law of Ukraine on the State Budget of Ukraine for 2019 provides for UAH 5.9 billion in expenditures as part of the programs on supporting the development of agrarian and industrial complex. In particular, a total of UAH 800 million was allocated under the program Financial Support for Farm Development.
