Bulgaria. Sunflower producers hold back sales pushing buyers up
Sunflower seed price in the Bulgarian market closed last week with another slight increase. The domestic market situation remains stable, reports UkrAgroConsult.
Growers hold back sales as much as possible, pushing buyers up. This tactic justifies their expectations, because the price is now at the season’s high. However, the abundant stocks of the commodity will ultimately have to be sold and, the closer to the end of the season, the more likely is a future price slump.
The average sunflower seed price closed the week up BGN 1/MT at BGN 571/MT that is equivalent to USD 331/MT (up USD 1/MT).
