Kazakhstan. The harvest started in two regions

Weather conditions. Moderately warm weather was observed on June 21-30.

Moisture supply. Above-normal precipitation occurred in the western, northern and central regions, while the rest of the country received less rain than normal.

Crop condition. On June 21-30, winter wheat growing areas in the south and southeast were exposed to good weather conditions for grain filling and full ripeness, the beginning of harvesting, and for growth and development of spring grains in the northern half.

As of July 9, the harvest of grains has begun in two regions – Jambyl and Turkestan ones. Farmers in the south have already harvested 93 Th ha of wheat and 26 Th ha of barley with an average yield of 1.7 MT/ha, UkrAgroConsult reports.
