In 2017, Ukraine’s revenues from the export of berries made up $11.6 million.
“Ukraine exported berries for the sum of $11.6 million in 2017, in particular, exports to the Netherlands made up $4.1 million, which accounted for 35.3% of total exports, Great Britain – $2.7 million (23.7%), Poland – $2.3 million (19.9%),” said Tetiana Shpyta, senior analyst at Ukraine’s Export Promotion Office.
The expert stressed that 80% of the export of berries fell on three countries by the end of 2017 and, in her opinion, this situation is quite risky for Ukrainian producers of berries.
