Palm oil imports by Ukraine in May were at a six-year low
Palm oil imports in September-May 2019/20 decreased to 146.2 KMT (down 11% from the same period in MY 2018/19), UkrAgroConsult reports.
Imports from the key suppliers changed as follows: Malaysia – down 28%, Indonesia – down 12%.
Palm oil purchases from Singapore surged, became regular, and Singapore’s import share expanded to 13%.
Imports in May were the lowest in six years as a result of quarantine restrictions.
