Ukraine. An experiment with “winter” sunflower to be conducted in Mykolaiv region

This year, the private agricultural enterprise Dmytrivka is going to conduct an experiment with fall planting of sunflower. They will plant 2 ha to sunflower in the late fall, when the average air temperature will be at most 5°С. The seeds will stay in the soil throughout winter and receive as much spring moisture as possible, while growers will save time.
