Ukraine. Corn is 2.6% higher than in 2018

According to the latest update as of October 3, planting of winter grains slowed down to 5.2% behind last year. Planting of winter rape is 4.9% ahead of last year, reports UkrAgroConsult.

Corn harvest has accelerated to 15.3% ahead of last year with 2.6% higher yield than in 2018. Buckwheat harvest is 35.1% behind last year, with 5.2% higher yield than in 2018. Millet harvest is 76.4% ahead of last year, with 22.2% higher yield than in 2018.

Sunflower harvest progress and yield are up 6.5% and 8.1% year-on-year, respectively.

Soybean harvest has slowed down to 20.4% ahead of last year with 5.7% lower yield than in 2018.
