Ukraine. Melitopol oil extraction plant to be completely re-equipped
Under a plan of retrofitting and upgrading the Melitopol oil extraction plant, its facilities will be reconstructed step-by-step by introducing innovative environment-friendly and energy-saving technologies. It is projected to double output and improve the product quality.
The plant’s crushing capacity will increase to 1000 MT/day for sunflower seed, 800 MT/day for rapeseed, and 500 MT/day for soybeans.
More thorough husking of oilseed kernels will make it possible to produce better-quality vegetable oils and high-protein meals.
Apart from re-equipping the plant’s existing facilities and infrastructure, it is planned to build a meal granulation line with a meal warehouse – the finished product is then to be loaded to trucks and rail transport, reports UkrAgroConsult.
