Ukraine. Rail grain shipments in 2019 hit an all-time high
In 2019, the volume of grains transported by rail in Ukraine reached a record 40.1 MMT that is the highest since the independence of the country. Each month witnessed a gain in grain shipments against 2018, reports UkrAgroConsult.
The main reasons for the substantial rise in transportation are record total grain crops in 2018 and 2019 and improvement of the quality of services provided by Ukrzaliznytsia.
