Ukraine. Rapeseed exports hit a new high in August
In August 2019/20 rapeseed exports from Ukraine hit a new high of 871.7 KMT, reports UkrAgroConsult.
The first two months featured record exports totaling 1358.9 KMT (up 37.9% year-on-year).
The EU is still the top importer with its market share up at 97%. Purchases are up 53% year-on-year due to a rapeseed crop decline in Europe and a rise in Ukraine’s rapeseed export potential.
Growth in exports was registered to France (+92%), Germany (+20%) and Belgium (+10%). A slowdown in exports was observed to Portugal (-59%), UAE (-51%) and USA (-47%).
