Ukraine. Topsoil moisture content is insufficient in the most of regions

Weather conditions. It was hot on August 11-23, with no significant rainfall.

Moisture supply. Topsoil moisture content was good and optimal for the soil to become prepared for planting winter grains and winter rape. The exception was the central, southern and southeastern regions, which had insufficient or almost exhausted topsoil moisture, reports UkrAgroConsult.

Crop condition is largely good and fair.
