Weather conditions. Varying weather dominated the west of the country. It was dry, warm in the eastern regions, or hot in some areas.
Moisture supply. Precipitation in the west increased topsoil moisture content and improved growing conditions for spring crops.
Crop condition. In the southeast, high air temperatures (peaking at 37°C) and low relative humidity adversely affected corn and sunflower, UkrAgroConsult reports.
