Indonesia increasing palm oil supplies to Ukraine
Palm oil imports in September-October 2019/20 fell to 37.1 KMT (down 18.6% year-on-year), reports UkrAgroConsult.
Imports from the key suppliers showed the following trends: Malaysia (-39%), Indonesia (+21%).
Malaysia and Indonesia shares the Ukrainian market actually on a 50:50 basis, while this ratio in MY 2018/19 was 66:32, respectively.
For the first time ever, palm oil was purchased from Georgia and Spain. No more imports from Germany, Lithuania, Latvia, the United Kingdom, the UAE.
