Kazakhstan. Grain harvest is under way in 4 southern regions
Weather conditions. On July 11-20, winter grains in the south and southeast of the country were exposed to mostly hot, rain-free weather favorable for full grain maturation and harvesting.
Moisture supply. Precipitation occurred in West Kazakhstan region and in the northernmost part of Aktobe region that somewhat improved moisture content in the soil.
Crop condition is largely fair to good. Elevated air temperatures during the growing season caused premature yellowing of lower-tier leaves in the northern, central and eastern regions.
As of July 29, 2019, the grain harvest in Kazakhstan is under way in four southern regions: Almaty, Zhambyl, Kyzylorda and Turkestan, reports UkrAgroConsult.
