Romania. Soil moisture content is higher than in 2018

Weather conditions. Last week’s air temperatures in Romania were at long-term normal levels for this time. The average air temperature was within -3…+10°C.

Moisture supply. This past week, precipitation of various intensities occurred in the north, west and south (5-10 mm). The central regions are experiencing precipitation and soil moisture deficits. Severe soil drought persists in the southeast. 

Soil moisture content this year is higher than in 2018. Air temperatures pose no threat to winter grains, reports UkrAgroConsult.
