Russia. A plant for advanced soybean processing to be built in the Far East
At the Eastern Economic Forum, the Russian Agricultural Bank and JSC Legendargo Holding signed a cooperation agreement for creating a vertically integrated agriholding, reports UkrAgroConsult.
The project envisages cultivation of crops (rice, corn, soybeans), advanced processing of soybeans and establishing a transport and logistics hub, through which the products would be exported to the Pacific Rim countries. The agriholding’s annual exports are to reach 188 KMT (worth RUB 5.6 Bl) by 2030.
The soybean processing plant will be constructed in Ussuriysk, Primorsky region.
Its design capacity will be up to 220 KMT of soybean products (oil, meal, lecithin, husks, concentrate, and molasses).
The Russian Agricultural Bank will allocate up to RUB 5.5 Bl for the project.
