Weather conditions. The weather in the Northwestern, Central and Volga federal districts was variable on August 11-20. Very warm weather (even hot on single days) was seen in the Southern and North Caucasian federal districts. It was much warmer than usual in western areas of the Siberian federal district.
Moisture supply. Most of the country received little precipitation and the conditions were favorable there for farmers to start harvesting spring grains. However, late crops were affected by hot weather and dry hot winds after August 10, reports UkrAgroConsult.
Crop condition is good and fair.
