Russia continues increasing sunflower oil production

Vegetable oil production in Russia in September-June 2019/20 increased by 16% year-on-year, UkrAgroConsult reports.

Sunflower oil output increased by 21.6% from the same period last year, while rape oil production gained 5.1%, soybean oil production gained 4.2%.

According to official data on oilseeds stocks in Russia as of July 1:

• oilseeds stocks were down 31% from a year earlier;
• sunflower seed stocks were 38% down than last year.
