Russian oilseeds market remained relatively stable last week
In March, the Russian sunflower seed market features higher supply and demand than in February. Trade has slackened by the middle of this month, but relatively large sales of the commodity are witnessed in the market.
Soybeans in Russia stay under pressure from weak crusher demand, whereas farmers are ready to sell them. This supply is driving the Russian market down in view of sinking world prices.
Price points in the rapeseed market remained within their previous range. Crushers are trying to reduce purchase prices, but growers hold the ground and do not sell the feedstock below the set price.
A trade slowdown is observed in the sunflower oil market. It is rather focused on the execution of previously signed contracts for the current month. No significant price changes happened, reports UkrAgroConsult.
