UkrAgroConsult raised its forecast for corn exports from Ukraine
Ukraine continues exporting corn at a record pace. In February, the country shipped abroad a record corn volume for that month and the greatest monthly volume since December 2013/14, reports UkrAgroConsult.
Overall, Ukrainian corn exports in H1 2018/19 hit an all-time high that is up 77% from September-February 2017/18.
The data on March’s port shipments and contracting indicate that Ukrainian corn exports will keep growing this month.
Mostly due to stronger demand from the European Union than expected, UkrAgroConsult has raised its forecast for this season’s corn exports from Ukraine by 1.5 MMT to a new record.
