Six ports may be constructed as part of TEN-T network
Investment projects provide for the construction of 4.8 th km of roads and railways, six ports and 11 logistic centers in Ukraine under the scope of the Investment Plan of the Trans-European Transport Network TEN-T. It is also reported that the European Union is interested in creating a railway transport corridor in Ukraine between Europe and China bypassing Russia, reports UkrAgroConsult.
20% discount on delivery of goods by railway to Azov ports agreed by Ministry
The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine finally agreed a discount on railway cargo delivery to the ports of Berdyansk and Mariupol. As a reminder, in the middle of March 2019, the Ministry of Infrastructure informed that cargo traffic in the ports of Mariupol and Berdyansk decreased significantly, because of the long-term delays of vessels, fleet deficit and high cost of freight. At that time, an algorithm for granting additional discounts on tariffs for certain types of cargo transportation to those ports was created.
