Ukraine. Unrefined sunflower oil production in Jan-Feb made up 1.1 mln t

Unrefined sunflower oil production by crushing facilities in Ukraine in the first two months of 2020 amounted to 1.1 mln t, 15.7% higher from the previous year's relevant indicator.

As provided by the data of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, the largest volumes of sunoil in the period were produced in the following regions:

Mykolaiv: 184.2 thou. t (+47.9%);
Odesa: 179.9 thou. t (+3%);
Kirovohrad: 158.3 thou. t (–0.9%);
Zaporizhzhya: 139.1 thou. t (+29.4%);
Vinnytsya: 87.2 thou. t (+55.9%).

In February, unrefined sunflower oil production totalled 558.416 thou. t, 16.5% more YoY.

Previously reported that sunflower oil export from Ukraine in Jan-Feb of the current year stood at 1.21 mln t. Product supply is valued at USD 882.8 mln.
